The basic rule of any online business is engaged traffic. My advice is whatever the case boost yours.

The medium platform is a great place to get started when else is in place and one has since signed up with the partner’s program. Note this article is not discussing how to join Medium, no, however, am attempting to show you how you get your articles to make money on partners program. The scope I wish to deliver is merely the effort or input you need to start seeing cents trickle in slowly. I love medium despite the challenges you may face in the journey. This article is only beneficial to those writers or bloggers on the partner’s program, who intend to make money out of their writings.

  1. Create a reading audience: As a blogger, your biggest headache is the audience to read your articles. It’s not enough to just clap for the writing but the whole idea is that they must-read. Your option here is to have medium paid-up members follow you because they have unlimited reading capacity hence they can read your article fully and engage. Be strategic in your growing and keeping your followers. So money is in the readability of your followers. When you create a funnel be share to make the audience read by writing good articles that can captivate the reader and keep them glued to your article
  2. Readers must engage in the chats option: Chatting is very important in your articles as it raises activities on your wall as well as the articles. It adds up to the number of engagements being done on your article. Hence it’s critical to have your followers engage and exchange understanding on your wall. Allow for comments and respond to either thank or respond to the queries from your audience.
  3. Readers must highlight potions of the articles where they felt touched in a way. This improves the engagement statistics of traffic to the article. The whole notion is to show how one is engulfed into the story, by understanding and recap, one can now, make comments on the highlights of the said portions. So encourage your audience to highlight where they felt the connection with the article.
  4. Claps: These show that someone appreciates your article and concepts. Somehow the statistics from claps show a great flow of traffic to your article. I suggest you boost more of these as they increase leverage and readability too. The more claps you get the better.
  5. Follow and invite others to do likewise: The most well-known of them all is following and being followed back. Hitting a plus paid-up members will increase the chances of returning revenue every month. This happens when you write captivating stories to get your readers back to every story you write. Be in the habit to create a story most of the time as this is a business of continuity.
  6. Referred membership: The Company has started referral-based income. You gain for everyone you refer to join medium and start. When they pay the company gives a percentage of it. So they have created links which you can copy to send to your friends and family, asking them to join, that link has recognized you as the referrer of the same. This is a great opportunity especially if your engagements are not as good as you expected. I must recommend all partners must take up this root and improve the financial outlook.

None of these ventures, however, proves to be as enjoyable or profitable as you may hope, without hard work to promote your writings. And by profitable, I don’t mean making millions, but rather being able to pay your bills. You must however now be able to engage traffic to your platform. Without which you may not be able to get paid. The idea about online business is engaged traffic all the time. So get to boost your articles on social media where you are allowed to with impunity if I must say. You have yourself to blame if you fail to succeed at this. However, let me know what I have left out or what you feel can be an addition to this.
